The TITE TOP System is a patented innovative product that provides for tensioning soft tops on Jeeps and other soft top vehicles which utilize an interior roll cage. The TITE TOP system helps control top flapping and water ponding on soft tops by providing an upward tension on the soft top.
The TITE TOP System consists of C shaped injection molded flexible polymer ends with a flexible bow installed between them. The flexible polymer ends allow for the ends to conform to different roll cage shapes and a Velcro band allows for tightening in place after installation. There is no need to remove the top because the unique flexible bow is inserted bent downward with the C shaped ends slightly loose to allow for rotating and then “flexed” into its upward tensioned position and then the Velcro strap is tightened.
